I know it has taken us forever to write in here! We just found a place where we can sit and get online for more than just a few minutes. I will be keeping this more up to date I promise!
Oh and I sat down and wrote out a nice well thought out blog to post on here... and I left it at the house. So excuse the following post if it seems rushed and a little crazy :)

Rachel,
I was reminded with such clarity the many encounters I made in Panama, when I read your letter. You will find so many of the people open and friendly. They are a people who are not pretencious, or judgemental. You will need to go to the market and eat a snow cone, it is like no other snow cone in the states. On my first trip I was so taken back by the culture there. There eagerness to learn the scriptures was one of great blessings. You will shed many tears upon leaving there. I recall well the culture shock once I arrived back in the states. It took many days to overcome. I wanted to move my entire family there some 23 years ago. I guess I was around your age at the time. Enjoy and smile that pretty smile of yours and you will win over all that come in contact with you. Love to you, Mike Allen
Hi Rachel! I am so glad you are feeling better. I am praying you will be well and energized for the remainder of the trip. I am sure you are picking up Spanish as you go. The Panamanians will see your love for Jesus even if you can't tell them with words for a while! Love, Momma Cindy
Rachel,
You are amazing! I am so proud to call you my cousin! I got chills while reading your stories and I can not wait to hear more. You be careful and stay well. I am praying for you night and day!!!
LOVE YOU!
